Burnaby South – Upper Deer Lake & Buckingham

About Burnaby South – Upper Deer Lake & Buckingham:

In central Burnaby, just south of Deer Lake, you’ll find the Buckingham Heights and Upper Deer Lake neighbourhoods. They are very similar in housing make-up, being almost exclusively detached, single-family homes.

Buckingham Heights is one of the more luxurious neighbourhoods in Burnaby, particularly along Burris Street, where you’ll find some of the biggest, and most expensive, houses in the city.

Upper Deer Lake is bordered on the north by Deer Lake Park, and on the south by Imperial Street. Brantford Elementary School and Brantford School Park are at the centre of this neighbourhood.

Close to the shops and restaurants along Kingsway and at Metrotown Mall, as well as the walking trails and activities at Deer Lake, these two neighbourhoods are conveniently located to take advantage of two of Burnaby’s biggest highlights.
